hi everyone! now that the holidays have calmed down, i'm taking a break from painting for a while, because i am in culinary school! i have little free time, so i'm not working on much other than dicing and butchering and cooking at the moment. i'm still open to discussing commission pieces, and i'll likely be participating in a craft show in the spring or summer, so check back in a few months!

i've been absent for a few months getting ready for two great fall/winter shows:

DIY Trunkshow
saturday, nov 22, 10 am - 5 pm
pulaski park auditorium, 1419 w. blackhawk
(just north of division, east of ashland)

my mom and i both have booths at diy this year, she'll be selling some great blackboards and vintage inspired tea towels and aprons!

DEPART-ment
opening night: friday, dec 05, 7 pm - 11 pm
sat and sun, dec 06-07, 11 am - 5 pm
AV-aerie studio, 2000 w. fulton (at damen), 3rd floor

i'll have lots of new audubon paintings, and also some new buttons and cute little bird ornaments. i hope you can come see me!

hi everyone! i've been taking some time off to concentrate on a few commissions, some home improvement projects, volunteering and practicing my sewing. but now that i have a brand new craft space, i'll be ramping back up shortly! i'm going to work on some consignment opportunities as well as a craft fair this fall. keep an eye out!

this is a commission i did for a woman who purchased one of my paintings at the diy trunkshow last year. she wanted 5 more paintings to go with the one she already had. i must say i'm quite pleased at how they turned out! i'm especially excited about the pelican. he might be my new favorite bird to work with!


this was my first attempt at a stuffed horse. the muzzle makes him look more like a mule than a horse, so i might need to edit that before attempting him again. but he turned out so cute!! more horses to come....


my mom is living in the area now, and she's started crafting these great blackboards and some wonderful purses and other sewn items. she's working on getting into a craft fair or two, we might even be doing one together soon!

i've just signed up for a last minute art festival at ogden elementary school to benefit their art department. the round the owl art fest will be showcasing and selling student work, everything from paintings to mosaic tables, as well as outside vendors like myself. all proceeds will benefit the art department at ogden.
